Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

I would love to lie down in green pastures, but then I stop and think about what I might be laying in. heheh! The first three verses of Psalm 23 have always been some of my favorites because it just makes my soul happy! I am really glad you shared today!

I always key in on the “He MAKES me lie down…” part in that verse. Maybe it’s because I Make my kids lie down in their beds for a nap and I always think, “Lord, sometimes, You just have to put me down for a nap don’t you. You make me lie down cause I won’t do it voluntarily and you know I need to rest!”
